On 13^th Jan., the reporter learned from Lanzhou University that, according to the “Announcement of the Ministry of Education's Ideological and Political Work Department on the publication of the Innovation and Development Center for National University Ideological & Political Work ", Lanzhou University was listed as National University Ideological & Political Work and became one of the first 20 contractors in the country.

In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we will further promote the spirit of the National University Ideological and Political Work Conference and give full play to the educational advantages of socialist education with Chinese characteristics. Lanzhou University, along with Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Jilin University, Wuhan University and other units was selected as the first batch of innovation and development centers for national university ideological and political work. The first round of the construction period of the center is 4 years, and will undertake related research and practical tasks of the Ministry of Education, provide consultative services, build collaborative platforms, and promote interactive communication.
